After a long and beautiful life, we have lost our loving wife and mother.
Kate was so many things to so many people: a beautiful daughter, a devoted
sister, and a determined philanthropist who worked tirelessly for causes such
as homelessness, day workers rights, and bulding schools in Nigeria. Her smile,
her jokes, and above all, her selfless love and generosity will be deeply and
profoundly missed.
John's eulogy has been posted. Karen Lantz has also written a nice eulogy. Job Lopez wrote a touching tribute poem, which was read at both services.
Information on Kate's burial place may be found here.
Story published in the San Jose Mercury News.
Another story published in The Voice. A longer story, including some comments given by friends at the service at St. Williams, was published in the Los Altos Town Crier.
Please share your thoughts and fond memories of Kate with us, and all the others who will miss her so dearly, in our Memory Book.
